Summer surfing
The North Atlantic coastline of Donegal, is only a short distance from anywhere in Northern Ireland. Earlier this month we were delighted to have been choosen to provide aerial footage showing summer surfing close to Bundoran beach. Travelling from East to West for 125 miles, we arrived at seriously stunning golden sand which stretched for miles. Thankfully we had almost perfect conditions, apart from a strong on shore wind, at least it was steady rather than gusting. The beach area was reasonabily quiet and free of onlookers making our job of marshalling a little easier. After a safety talk with instructors and the group of eager surfers, they set of on the long dander to hit the waves. Staying in the air for 10min periods we filmed some stunning low level of aerial footage of the surfers doing their best to stay afloat.
The footage will be used during the Autumn period on a TV series "Walk the line" starting Sept 22nd
